AFG Comfort TiR Low E as our standard Low E

glass. Low E glass is a marvel of modern technology

permitting visible light through but reflecting back

infrared and ultraviolet light. This special coating is

made by depositing super thin layers of silver, titanium and other metal oxides on the surface of the glass to create a spectrally selective mirror. TiR has a double thickness of silver and a hard outer layer of titanium to provide extraordinary performance in climates where both heating and cooling costs are important. The

increased reflectivity controls radiant solar energy

by lowering the SHGC, and the U Factor while

maintaining high visible light transmission. TiR has

a clear appearance with no tint, yet it can keep the

summer heat and the winter cold outside giving you
