Schneider Home Equipment Company Since 1935

In 1955, land was purchased to relocate the headquarters on Pippin Road, where it remains today. Then, the dawn of a second generation of Schneiders took the helm as the company President with Stan Jr. in 1979. Stan Jr. continued to propel Schneider's to the forefront of Cincinnati's home improvement industry through a dedication to customer service and an ever growing product line. Under his leadership, Schneider's built its lasting reputation as the area's leader in doors, windows, roofing, vinyl siding, glass and screen enclosures, three and four season patio rooms, replacement windows, patio covers, gutters, shutters, and alumnium railing.

Schneider Home Equipment Co. had its humble beginning in 1935. Initially known as Schneider Hardware, our first store was located in Fairmount, on Harrison Ave. Our primary products were wood storm windows and doors, painted the color of the customer's choice. Over time our product line expanded, including the addition of custom wood awnings.

By the mid 50's, aluminum made its appearance as the material of the future for windows, doors, and awnings. It was a significant transition moving from painted wood products to the new maintenance free aluminum products. However, Schneider's maintained a flexible outlook and successfully adapted to this change in the home improvement industry.

After Stan Jr.'s retirement in 1996, his son Mike represented the third generation of Schneiders to lead the family business. With an outstanding reputation already established, maintaining it became the key focus. This is done through an unrelenting commitment to customer service, a pledge to offer the highest quality products, and the unmatched resolution to bring these to you at the lowest price possible.

We've done very well for 76 years now, doing business the old fashioned way... respect the customer, do a good job, and the customers will spread the word.
